Using the dialer for Manual / Preview dialling without Sample
Ideal when adding sample to the INVADE CATI is not possible. For example, preview dialling with an external database list

Creating the campaign
Navigate to the INVADE CATI Manager section and click ‘Create new campaign’
Add a Campaign Name, in this example, no sample
Check the “Sampless dialling” box
Set the Dial Method to PREVIEW
Check/uncheck the tick box if you require Call Recording
Click Create & Next and skip the sections until you get the ‘Ready Button’ and click ready.
The campaign is ready to be used as shown below and click start
For the Agent
Navigate to the CATI Interviewer section
Select the campaign from the ‘Campaign' drop-down list, in this example 'no sample’
Click logon and you are ready to ‘dial'
in the “Respondent telephone number” field enter the number and click the green telephone to dial the number
When you have a connected call you are presented with various options, this is the ability to, place a respondent on hold, engage a 3rd party into the call and so on.
You are able to put the call on hold by pressing hold and press cancel to take them off hold:
You can start a transfer by typing in the phone number in the target field and click “start transfer” this can also be done while the respondent is on hold:
Note. if the respondent is not on hold, the respondent will automatically be put on hold
Once the target number (3rd Party) has connected the target button will go green
If you want to talk to the respondent again and put the target number on hold click the “respondent” button
if you want to talk to both the target and the respondent at the same time click the “conference” button
once the target number is no longer needed click “cancel” button:
Depending on the call outcome, code the call appropriately and enter a new number in the Respondent field
Reviewing the Campaign
As with a Campaign run for a 3rd Party CATI or the INVADE CATI all the data is available in the normal sections and is available directly from the database.
Key sections within the INVADE Solution:
The calls made will show in the “Cati Manager” campaign sample table
The campaign will show in the WebConsole as a normal campaign with all features available.
You will be able to see the calls in Call Search.
