CATI Interviewer (CI) With Sample information.
Available from April 2020
When navigated to CATI Interviewer you will be presented with an option to select the campaign (survey), Agent Name (which can be pre-configured in User Management section and the telephony extension, as with the Agent Name this can be configured in User Management section.
Campaign selection will present all currently live campaigns.
By clicking “Logon” the INVADE Dialler will attempt telephony logon for the interviewer if it's successful you will be presented with the interview panel.
From this point you are presented with two options, either initiate the call manually (Preview call) or make the agent available for Predictive/Progressive (automated dialling) calls.
Preview call
In order to initiate a preview call, you need to select/find the sample record. This can be done by providing sample record number, In the example below, we are going to select sample record id 1.
If the sample record with provided id is found you will be presented with previous sample information i.e. Completion Code, Terminated (state), Exhausted (state) and a number of previous attempts in Tries. Also if the sample was imported with extra information, that extra information will be provided in the “Sample data” section.
When the call is connected to the respondent the call state bar will turn green and you should have an audio path to the respondent plus all the sample information visible for you.
After completing the interview you can code the call with default Completion code (which can be extended in CATI manager).
Once you have selected the Completion Code selected click on “CodeCall” button, which will code the call.
Predictive/Progressive calls (auto dialling)
When using Predictive (auto) Dialling you will need to press the “Ready” button which will make the agent available to take automated calls. The call progress bar will turn red to signify a ‘waiting’ state.
Once the call is connected audio path will become available for the agent and sample information will be popped on the screen. In order to code this type of call, you will have to select the Completion Code and click “Complete”
In order not to take a following automated call you can uncheck “Available for next” checkbox and after coding the call you will be placed in an unavailable state (yellow call progress bar) in order to make preview call or log off.
Sample import with extra information
Sample imported standard way by providing CSV file to projects directory. The dialler only requires “RecordID” and “TelNum” fields in order to create a sample record. All the extra information will be popped as extra sample information.

Campaign configuration (providing external survey URL)
In CATI Manager section of the Web Portal when configuring campaign, now we have an option to provide an external URL to a survey data collector “Base URL”. The CATI Interviewer will do pattern matching on the URL and will replace “{IID}” with popped sample record ID that can be ‘clicked’ and pop up a 3rd Party Browser base web type Survey.
