NIPO Interface Installation Guide

Installation

  1. Copy the InvNipoS files to the NIPO master server. 
    * This will also require the latest .Net framework to be installed to support Dialler Connect Console.
  2. Configure the Log path to the same log directory as the Nipo logs.
  3. Open the start menu, and in the "Search" box type cmd, then right click over cmd and click "Run as administrator" to start the Command Prompt with Administrator Privileges.
  4. Go to the directory where InvNipoS files are located (in this example, C:\InvNipoS) and run the following command to install the component:

    C:\InvNipoS>InvNipoS.exe /regserver
  5.  Open the registry editor and browse to the following configuration to change/add values:

    HKLM > Software > InVADE > InvNipoS > Config
  6. Open the start menu, and in the "Search" box type services and open it.
  7. Select the service InvNipoS from the list and make sure its "Startup Type" is set to Automatic.

Upgrade

  1. Backup all the old components.
  2. pen the start menu, and in the "Search" box type services and open it. Stop the InvNipoS service.
  3. Copy the InvNipoS files to the NIPO master server.
  4. Open the start menu, and in the "Search" box type cmd, then right click over cmd and click "Run as administrator" to start the Command Prompt with Administrator Privileges.
  5. Go to the directory where InvNipoS files are located (in this example, C:\InvNipoS) and run the following command to install the component:

    C:\InvNipoS>InvNipoS.exe /regserver
  6. Open the registry editor and browse to the following configuration to change/add values:

    HKLM > Software > InVADE > InvNipoS > Config
  7. Open the start menu, and in the "Search" box type services and open it.
  8. Once all the above has been completed start the InvNipoS service.

Checking Current Version

  1. Locate the "InvNipoS.exe" file in the "bin" sub directory of the main installation directory.
  2. Open the "Properties" of the file (right click).
  3. Select the "Details" tab.
  4. Select the "Product version".

The version of the "nvblog32.dll" file can be checked using the same process.
