Connecting an Astribank (without RPS)

This document details the steps that should be taken when connecting Astribank(s) to the telephony servers.

1. Firstly connect the 12v Astribank power supply to the Power port marked in the picture below in red:

This will need to be performed for each Astribank that you will be using.

2. Next we will be connecting the USB cables from the Astribanks to the rear of the telephony servers.

Locate the cable that has a USB A connector at one end, and a series B connector at the other end (shown in the photo below).

Once you have this, plug the series B (the square connector) to the rear of the Astribank unit in the port marked as “MAIN”, shown in the picture below (blue circle):

Finally connect the USB end to the rear of the telephony server in any of the USB ports provided, shown in the picture below (orange circle)

Please note, your server may differ from the pictures provided above.

The Astribank can be connected to any USB port on the telephony server, but must always be connected to the port labeled as “MAIN” on the Astribank unit.

If you have multiple telephony servers be sure to distribute the Astribanks evenly between the servers.
