VCSD is a powerful tool to restart or shut down part or all of the INVADE solution. NOTE. This Builder is only available to users trained by INVADE Engineers.

OS = The operating system used by the INVADE Solution (native to Linux Red Hat) 

Remote Access = INVADE Solution remote access tool (for onsite / VM / private cloud. INVADE Cloud Solution  will show a Image Added

Asterisk = The Asterisk (Telephony platform) version installed and running information 

Dialler = The Version of the INVADE Solution Components

Using the VCSD interface

VCSD has to 'Actions' that can take place

Shut Down  By confirming this action you will shut down the service associated with this buttonWARNING - this action can only be reverted with manual intervention from either on a physical server or via a virtual environment Control Panelcontrol panel, such as vSphere.

SIP Endpoints

This section will display all configured SIP endpoints on the INVADE Solution. Each row in the grid represents a configured SIP endpoint. Row colour represent state of the endpoint.

  • Green - connected and in active call.

  • Yellow - registered but not in active call.

  • Red - configured and unregistered SIP endpoint

It is possible to right click on any registered and active extension to get a menu option “Trace” which will navigate to the next section “Ping/Trace” for further analysis of the extensions IP address.

Ping/Trace

This section allows to ping and trace an IP address from the INVADE Solution.

The result of “Ping/Trace” will contains all the ping and traceroute information, including hops.

Packet Capture

This section enables you to run packet captures on the dialler server. Configuration of the trace allows you to set the following parameters:

Capture type - there is a predefined set of packet capture ports which will be configure by Invade. There is an option to switch to “Advanced” mode to specify required ports for the packet capture manually.

Capture size - the size of the packet capture files

Rotation count - the number of files to rotate in order to safe disk space

Auto stop - allows you to specify auto stop timer which will stop the packet capture.

The packet captures can be stopped manually by clicking “Stop” button, they will be stopped by “Auto stop” timer or the packet capture process is kill on the server. Once stopped the tool will create an archive of packet capture files which can be downloaded by clicking on “Download”
